The ESSEC GMBA Luxury Brand Management cohort visited Boodles as part of their London Field trip. Boodles is a British family-owned luxury jewellery brand founded in 1798, with ten stores across the UK and Ireland. During the visit, the cohort went to their iconic Bond Street store and met with one of its directors, James Amos.

It was an honor for the cohort to experience the brand’s elegance and discover their exquisite designs. Furthermore, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn how the oldest family-owned jewellery brand from Liverpool created its mark in the UK luxury jewellery space and became the leading fine jewellery brand of the country.

Mr. Amos spoke passionately about the history and philosophy of the Boodles brandsharing insights into their approach to craftsmanship and design, as well as their commitment to providing a unique and personalized customer experience. One of the key takeaways from the meeting with Mr. Amos was Boodles' growing focus on sustainability. He also shared efforts of the brand to evolve with the times and exploring new ways to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of luxury jewellery.

Overall, the visit to Boodles UK's Bond Street store and meeting with James Amos was an enlightening experience. It provided a firsthand look at how a luxury brand operates in the competitive jewelry market and emphasized the importance of maintaining a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation to stand out in a crowded marketplace.
